Teacher's Pet - Part 4

Natalia was dressed for bed with her laptop on the desk next to her, skype open and online. She had removed her makeup and had select some of her most conservative nightwear. The image she wanted to project was diligent hard-working student rather than teen-temptress. That would come later.

She weighed up the situation, she figured Mr Williams was a smart guy...he knew late-night skyping with a student could well mean losing his job and so she would be surprised if he took the bait at the firsrt time of asking. No, she thought, this was merely planting the seed.

Across town Michael had returned to his appartment and immediately threw Natalia's piece of paper in the wastepaper bin. It was now 9:20 and he was glancing over at the bin. He could think ofca hundred different reasons not to contact her...but the allure and danger were enticing and intoxicating. He knew that that beautiful girl was there at the other end of a computer waiting for him. Waiting for him to discuss one of his favourite books. He looked at the ceiling and let out a frustrated scream.

He knew if he stayed in the appartment he would do something silly...he changed into his sports gear and went for a long run.

Natlia read more of Wolf Hall and played around online, she noted from her fake Facebook account that Michael wasn't around. At ten pm she decided that her prey had resisted the bait this time, she probably would have been disappointed if he had surrendered at the first opportunity. She figured it was only September, time was on her side.

Michael was tormented by thoughts of his star pupil all week, at the the next lesson she seemed withdrawn and avoided eye-contact with him. A marked change from the previous lessons where she seemed to smoulder and challenge him to look away first whenever they talked. It was actually welcome but he hated the idea that she was embarressed or abashed by him rejecting her.

It was the same then next week...He was tempted to leave the situation alone, in a away it solved his problem but he hated the idea that a student with a gift for his subject was languishing like this.

Natalia for her part was playing hard to get knowing that eventually Michael, being the conscientious teacher he was, would make moves to engage with her. In the mean-time however she was not wasting any time, because of her background and upbringing the thought that she might be denied something she wanted simply did not occur to Natalia. She was completely without morals or conscience. Michael was dealing with a highly intelligent sociopath....to he he was merely a thing to be won and owned. She had extensive resources at her disposal and so tapping further into his world was simple.

She logged onto her dark web server and contacted some people on The Silk Road. Members of her family and their organisation had long taught her that there was always the expertise you needed available if you knew where to look for it and had the money. Within hours she had hired a hacker to break into as many of Michael's social media accounts as possible. It wasn't even expensive, a couple of hundred pound and Natalia had full access to Michaels Facebook, email, twitter, skype & fitness networks. She started gathering as much info as she could. So far everything she found pleased her. He spoke to his old friends about his passion for the school and improving things there, he was active academically & was writing papers for journals, extremely health conscious, no girlfriend, no evidence he was gay, no evidence of any social life...he was a perfect target.

In the third week after their aborted skyp "date" Natalia was struggling not to grin as she looked at him. She could tell the shy-student routine was forcing him to make moves towards her and she was right. At the end of class she waited until everyone else had left and then began to pack her things away. He apporached her "Natalia" he said awkwardly, he was out of his comfort zone here she could tell "I hope you know why we couldn't do your little online readalong idea a couple of weeks ago"

Inwardly Natalia was thinking "Yesss!" but she kept up her pretence, she looked away and mumbled "I suppose so".

Michael contined for flounder "Believe me there is nothing I like more than to talk to a fellow history geek....I want you to have this" he handed her "Bring out the Bodies" the sequel to "Wolf Hall".

She looked at and forgot her act for a moment, the room was lit up by a broad beaming smile.

"...You really do get this subject, you have a gift for it....please don't give up" He smiled nervously.

Natalia swept up the book and placed it in her bag. She smiled at him and his heart skipped "Deal" she said.

She walked out of the room grinning like a Cheshire cat. It will a lovely gesture he'd just made, it proved everything she'd suspected about him. It would prove to be his undoing.

She was going to have him no matter what the cost.
